1 Park Street, Thread
I thought it might be fun to start a thread where folk who are to be able to visit the Christopher Ward showroom could share their experiences.
Today, I was fortunate to be able to pop into No:1 Park Street where I received a very warm welcome from Declan, Showroom Manager. After a catchup he introduced me to the current CW range. Although I could easily have been tempted by any of the watches on display it was the beautiful C60 #tide that grabbed me, I don’t say this lightly, but this watch is simply stunning. Making it an easy decision, I came away with one on a #tide strap. That’s not before I spent an hour chatting with Mike France, in the majority not mentioning watches.
Anyway, here are 3 snaps from my visit.

I enjoyed both my visits to Aladdin‘s Cave. That’s a great pick up and clearly a very popular watch with forum dwellers at the moment.

Thank you, I’ve just noticed where you come from. Chicago is my favourite city, I used to be a regular visitor flying in from the UK.audio.bill wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 7:19 pm Congrats on the pickup Richard, it looks great on the #tide strap on your wrist! Enjoy it in the best of health.

Haha! I was thinking the exact same thing!
And Richard, let’s see a lume shot of that beautiful new watch!
As for a visit to the showroom, I will work it into my itinerary next time I’m in England, as a ”must do!”

Congrats on your watch acquisition, Richard. That watch is looking SO good. I can't help thinking that your mind may have been made up before you got anywhere near the showroom.

Despite living only about 20minutes drove away from the Showroom I haven't visited there since 12 February 2019, for which I wrote a longish report. Obviously Covid lockdowns explain away some of that time but some of the absence was due to a lack of designs to attract me.
With restrictions lifted and some recent attractive releases I need to get there to see the Sealander and tide watches.

I'm delighted you had a great visit Richard and that you came came away with that gorgeous C60 #tide.
Visiting the CW Showroom is a wonderful thing.
I've been a few times, definitely 3 if not 4 I can't remember.
Declan the showroom manager is the quintessential gentleman and will endeavor to help you in any way he can.
Highly recommended.
