Top notch acquisition, Steve. Congratulations.

Knowing your previous dalliance with a Mk2 C60 Trident GMT and it being, ultimately, too big for you, the Sealander GMT has got to be the right choice for you.

Also, the black dial would be my pick too (if I were to get a Sealander, which I won't).

I've got fingers crossed for you that your trip to Greece goes ahead.

Excellent pick up! I pre-ordered the black dial on a bracelet for October, but the latest discount code persuaded me to get a white dial as well on a tide strap (and perhaps impatience  ). It's been my companion on my latest excursion, and has been a champ...enjoy!

^^^ The white does look good in the sunshine!

Thanks to everyone for the nice comments. I will be wearing it at least until the weekend to allow everything to settle down, and I have ordered the black/orange hybrid strap to go with it as well.

That looks superb Steve and the perfect watch for your impending Greek holiday.

My mother and step father have Crete booked for later this month so I'm hoping and confident that you will all get to go.

That was my initial thought. Perhaps Steve committing to this one means a blue version is imminent.
I do love blue dials, it’s true, but I have several of them. For some reason this is just so right with the black dial.

I’m working on a reasonably extensive review which I may put up at the weekend. Initial thoughts, however, are that this, and the Sealander range in general, may well be among the best watches CW have produced so far. One of my concerns was that it might look a little too diverish, and I’m not the worlds greatest fan of dive watches. However, the bezel just seems to blend in with the case when you don’t want to see it, and it’s reasonably narrow. I think it’s a great look. And initial thoughts on timekeeping are very good. Perfect size, too, though I know there are those who will disagree. It certainly hits the Goldilocks spot for me.

I’m rather pleased with this! (Excuse the poor photo)

Originally the watch appeared to be losing between 3 four seconds per day in the first couple of days. Not a big problem, but I often think that movements take a day or 2 to settle down. I reset it early Wednesday morning and haven’t adjusted it for the last 72 hours.

I suspect that it is still losing a little bit, but certainly not that much. And it appears to gain a similar amount when lying dial up. I took it off for a few hours yesterday to go to the gym and the golf range, but otherwise I’ve been wearing it 24/7.

Have had my eyes on this for a bit sportier usage. I prefer this to subs. My biggest 2 concerns are white or black and I’m also wondering what are the preorder quantaties?

Black looks awesome, but so does white. Haven’t pulled the trigger yet as I cant decide. On initial pics I was on team white, on live pictures black seems better.

The preorder amounts. As I’ve several on nato and leather ones, I would like to have metal bracelet. Wondering where to go and when. Any tips?

^^^ Hello and welcome. 8)

The bracelet models are on pre-order for the end of October, and I would assume you can probably get a bracelet on its own at that time if you choose a strap option now. That is what I might do.

I will be posting an in-depth review of this watch either tonight or tomorrow. It is almost finished.
