C60 Anthropocene GMT

Post by ajax87 »

Just saw this on Facebook. It looks like it’ll be a C60 cased version of the C65 anthropocene, with a white sapphire dial styled like the C63 dial?

Looks cool. I can’t wait to see the whole thing!

The heavily lumed dial sounds interesting, and would offer something a bit different. Can’t wait for the lume shots!

Will be interesting to see. The dial looks good, but no sign of the black edged hands on the C65 version. Based on the image alone, might be too close to the standard white C60 and the white C63. Time will tell (pardon the pun)

Do you know something I don’t, or is that what you took away from the ad? I thought “treated to look like polar ice” meant they just made it look opaque/icy.

I read it like you: a white, semi-opaque dial.

In the picture you can see the date wheel through the dial, so it must be a white version of the sapphire dial. You can also see the GMT hand, and in general the colouring of the anthropocene. That's what I thought.

Interesting. I normally see all the CW ads on Facebook, but that one hasn’t popped into my newsfeed yet.

This must be what rarebritishartglass was talking about, but it looks like a separate watch from the C60 Anthropocene. And it also sounds pretty awesome!

I think the two partial pictures ARE of the same watch, myself. Looks like many of the right bits, in the right order, as someone once said. :)

Except the bezel on the first one is a 24hr GMT bezel and the second one is a standard 5 minute increment dive bezel :D

Also, the second one is noted as a chronometer, and will likely say so on the dial.

Looks like a new variation of the logo on the crown too.

Looks like it’s their #tide logo (just a hashtag really but it’s what they use every time they mention tide)

Lume heavy sapphire dial? Intriguing.

The blue ring (#tide material?) on the crown is smart.

That white sapphire dial looks beautiful in that teaser pic. Both of these watches have me excited!
