Congrats to the Early Adopters and enjoy in good health! CW has done really well here. My personal pick - the white dial GMT.
I do take the point about the GMT hand on that one, and fair enough too, but personally not fussed.
If anyone wants to compare the black one with a Grand Seiko SBGN003....the CW is auto not (super) quartz and a third of the price. EXACT same size too. CW's value proposition is outstanding.
I've owned a used SBGN005 for 2 weeks now and with this GMT release was thinking, hmmm, maybe I'll sell and get this instead. It took about 30 seconds of looking at the GS on my wrist to decide NOPE! It's just stunning! That, the jumping hour hand for a true GMT, no regular service costs aside from battery change and phenomenal accuracy come pretty close to making up the price difference for me.
These new watches are very nice, and I'd be sorely tempted by the regular white or black if I didn't already have enough watches with similar stick indices.
Good release CW. BIG seller to be sure.

I also love the look of the GMT, and am seriously considering getting that in black.
Couldn’t help myself, went ahead and ordered the black GMT too. I’ve been patiently waiting for a quality white dial sports watch and black dial / steel bezel gmt for ages. Almost pulled the trigger on a number of other models from other brands, but each time something just didn’t feel right. Now CW has come along and launched 2 models which seem to be exactly what I was looking for. Hopefully my patience has paid off.
Looking forward to their arrival, will update here with some photos once they do.
As I’m new to the forum, is their a minimum number of posts required before I’m able to add images?
Thanks for the link
Great review of the Black Dial C63 GMT ..... and i initially was over a barrel between white and black
But .... despite many folks approval ..... Why oh why is this a 39mm watch rather than 41mm
Perhaps it wears a little larger not sure .... it didnt seem obviously small on the reviewers wrist except for perhaps one shot
I've been caught out before with 39mm cases so best wait and see some more real life photos
Very nice watch though

I think I feel the same Rich. I am wearing my C65 handwound today, and it's just right for me at 41mm. 39mm is on the small side for my wrist, and although I can wear 39mm, I prefer a bigger watch.
Its all very well watch sizes getting smaller, but people are getting bigger, and I don't believe a drift to smaller watches will last.

Not all of us have large wrists... I'm 6ft tall with a 6 inch wrist...
Surely the way forward is to offer options?

Quite agree with JAFO...... in so much as i also can get away with a 39mm on some styles but i always have the slight feeling of wrist presence not being as nice
And yes gannet ... of course there should be options ...who knows.... if this range sell well (and i suspect they will) perhaps a 41mm case may enter the fray downstream
I'm still a little surprised CW didnt go with two size options from the start

I’m new to the CW world! I’ve been looking at their watches for a while but never took the plunge. Now, I fell in love with the new C63 GMT black. It looks fantastic!
As I love my watches on bracelet, I’d love to see what the clasp is like on those new models… can’t find any official photos!
Bracelets. I think CW now use a standard bracelet and just add different endlinks as required. In which case they all have a quick release system for attaching the strap, and an integral no-tool size adjustment to the clasp. The clasp is a single fold milled clasp, with push button release. The removable links are pin and collar.
The bracelets are excellent quality and great value when compared to some OEM bracelets.
Sorry, I don't have any pictures on hand to upload.

Does anyone have a photo? Thanks!
Just watch any youtube video on the C60 Trident Mark 3 divers, the clasp should be exactly the same. Am not sure if the clasp width varies depending on lug width and taper, but it will be enough to get a good idea of what you'll be getting.
It's a great clasp, and I use the quick adjust daily as my body temperature changes.

I think the small watch preference is largely down to period vintage watches. As you've said, people were smaller then and, really, in those days there was only really one genre of watch - dress, or something designed to fit under a long shirt sleeve and cuff. Everyday clothes wear was much more formal then; just look how many people wore hats, men and women. Working class men wore suits to watch their football team play, fans stood on the pitch. Today, T-shirts and jeans is the modern everyday dress. I think people generally want something with a little more presence on their wrist. When I look at my wrist I personally like to see more watch than wrist. I have a 7" wrist, just, and my personal preference is for watches between 41-44mm. I think the trend for a more contemporary size of watch will continue.
Does melancholy count as two of your five daily servings?
^^^^ I don't disagree with what you said, but I think that - in part - this is down to people being more affluent. Not too long ago, people just had less possessions so most people had just one watch for everything, wore their old suits for leisure activities as they didn't have anything else. You're right about being more formal - over the weekend I dug out some pictures of my family on holiday in Blackpool c.1965. My Dad was wearing a shirt and tie on the beach, you could tell he was relaxing as he had his sleeves rolled up and no jacket! Alfred Wainwright walked all over the Lake District in a suit and tie, wearing shoes, although as Borough Treasurer of Kendal he could, by then, be described as middle-class (and rather eccentric). Of course, all this is now around 60 years ago so it's bit like, in 1970 comparing things as they were in 1910 - a different world in so many ways.
There does seem to be a trend though to smaller watches - Seiko brought out a 38mm 'Alpinist' not too long ago. Perhaps it's just a move away from over-large watches?
