Sealander SW330-2 GMT

Post by redmonaco »

I got quite excited when I saw CW mentioning the use of the NEW Sw330-2 on their Sealander GMT watches. At last I thought, a proper Local Time GMT utilising a jump hour hand as per the Rolex GMTs.

Alas I cannot find any details on line about the SW330-2 and it says on the CW site that it is the GMT hand that is movable... :0(

So, can anyone explain what the difference is between the 330-1 vs 330-2 please??

Yes.

330-2 has improved PR to 56 hours (I think). It also has a much more precise action on the moveable 24h hand.

Sadly not a true GMT, though.

Agree. They need an hour jumping GMT. A moveable GMT hand is of no use to me.

There is of course a cost implication. If they wore doing a "true" GMT it wouldn't be for that price.

I think I would even prefer a fixed GMT hand with a rotating bezel over this system
