Hmmm, seems to lack a 'homey' feel, though..

Kinda looks like it would feel like living in a ‘70s museum.

Think of the staff you'd need. I mean, times are hard and here at Château d'Avo we've had to cut back. We just have Cook, one cleaning lady and the gardener. Smithers has to act as valet, butler, footman and chauffeur. Oh, and there's Mimi the French maid, naturellement.

Bit of a bugger if you put something down though - I could read a book faster than find it in there.
I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left

The biometric sliding electric front door is going to be a problem when the power goes out. It's such a pain when mine isn't working, and I have to wake one of the staff to open it from the inside.

I watched about the first minute, during which they mentioned the size in square feet and the cost.

At that point I didn’t bother watching any further, on the basis that I don’t think it is the largest private residence in the world.

That is just gross. Got about a minute in before I started dry-reaching and clicked the off button.

Sounds like a big old Shakespearean tale of hubris. I thought it was a bit weird in the original video that he was showing people round an unfinished building as if the miracle had already happened. It looks like they managed to finish the gym and the cigar room, but couldn’t get the kitchen sorted.

I do love people who have big vision and big ideas. But I also think they need do-ing people working with them to put the big ideas into practice. These are definitely two different skill-sets
