Ooh wicked!
If only I wasn't into something else somewhere else I could make a fool of myself over two of them: as it is I need to pass.

Like to take advantage. Had 2 links taken out of a 40mm C60. Anybody know what size I should order then to have them size it for me? Thanks!

Unless they are sending the removed links, always buy with the longest bracelet size available. If you ever sell it, you are going to want all links. And, with a popular model, extra links can also be sold for more than you would think.Dynamite_Kid19 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 8:40 pm Like to take advantage. Had 2 links taken out of a 40mm C60. Oooh, tempting but I need to moderate my wishes and spending.

My advice would be to buy with all the links and remove them yourself. You will find you will take out links and then put them back in depending how you like to wear the watch. With an 8" wrist I first took 2 links out but ended up putting a link back in as I preferred a slacker feel and you will be amazed how your wrist changes sizes during the day and yearDynamite_Kid19 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 8:40 pm Like to take advantage. I ordered a couple of straps and the c65 trident watch. Does anyone know why they sell these and what condition to expect? I assume they are returned under the 60 day period? Im mainly concerned the watch wont be perfect. It comes with the same 60 day return so if it doesn't look mint I will return with no lossnof money

Thanks for the heads up, John, which was costly.Bident wrote:C65 Ocean Blue SC among other watches up for sale, as well as bracelets and straps.
I wasn't going to buy anything but had a PM yesterday evening as well, and unexpectedly sold my C65 Super Compressor, but I need to sell one or two more to cover my Nearly New purchase.

I’m pleased for everyone who is able to bag themselves a good deal. However, these endless sales and discounts have put me off from ever buying a CW at full price. In fact, I would say they have become the DFS of the watch community.

^^^ Endless sales? Really!
Two main Sales per year with the occasional Nearly New availability of a few individual watches. Plus a controlled flow of Promotions.
Hardly DFS, Richard, and a lot better than some Jewellery Stores / ADs.

You make a valid point Richard, but I wonder overall how many are sold at full price in comparison to those using a voucher or sold at sale prices.
I would venture that - We few, we happy few, we band of brothers are in the minority because of this forum and so never pay full retail price.

As unpopular as it maybe, I stand by what I say, and yes the DFS of the watch community.

If I bought a sofa from DFS I wouldn't expect to spend an afternoon chatting with the designer and receive a personalised signed letter.
