I would ask that judgements be withheld on this issue.

It just came up on Sunday and I am working on getting the correct answers. I will post as soon as I get clarity.

Fair enough Kip, please feel free to delete my last 2 posts. And this one when you’re done. As further posts added, I cannot now delete them thx

Just a thought - what does the Owner’s Handbook say?

Only the OH for the earlier C65 AM GT LE is on the CW website at the moment.

For the 1 VEV, Mine states “Calibre - ETA 251.274/1ST”

For what it’s worth, as a single data reference... my 2VEV is still +0 secs, two weeks after receiving and setting it

I love it’s looks and functionality anyway, no matter what the movement is :D

CALIBRE TYPE - If the chronograph hands spin when you pull the crown out to
position 2, you have an ETA calibre 251.274. If the chronograph hands do not
spin, you have a calibre 251.272.
Iam a liitle bit confused. According to the manual the crown has four positions. Position 1 crown screwed, Position 2 crown unscrewed, Position 3 date setting, Position 4 time setting. If your position 2 = position 3 date setting my 1 VEV has the ETA calibre 251.274, the chronograph hands spin one time clockwise.
You and me both, this is what my 1 VEV does too, chronograph hands spin in position 3. Listed in handbook as 251.272? I'll wait for further info to appear before I decide whether to keep it or not as I too purchased it for the advertised +/- 10 secs per year accuracy.

So I went to buy a watch, and the man in the shop said "Analogue." I said "No, just a watch."

Apologies if my comments were misplaced.
I don't wish to be seen as bashing or disliking CW as a brand, but, my goodness, they don't half frustrate the hell out of me sometimes.

No worries guys. I just don't want suppositions to cloud the facts when I get them. I promise it is being looked into and I will offer an explanation(s) when I get it.

Does anyone know how long it takes for CW to upload user manuals to the support page?

Because watches tend to have subtle differences in how to change date/time etc, I keep my manuals in an app.

Much easier to access, as all my watch boxes are stored away.

I’m not sure, Brian. Some manuals seem to be on there very quickly, others take a little more time. Rest assured that as soon as we get our sticky mitts on them they will be uploaded to the CW Archive pretty quickly.

I have not forgotten my promised response.

I am still assembling information and awaiting more answers. I will provide all details when completed. Unfortunately it is taking a bit longer than anticipated. I should be complete by mid next week.
