Any recommendation on C8 Power Reserve Chronometer?

Is it worth it?

I mean its a 4 years ago model.
I have had one for 3 years. Best watch CW have ever made IMHO. Happy to answer any practical questions you might have.

Lume is ok, lasts all night but not the brightest. Mine has the lumed date and that is practically useless except for the odd photo as it fades very quickly (thin layer only).

Nice!

Too bad... Missed it.

I never have a watch with lumi that can last all night.

I thought C60 Abyss SH21 is but not.

They tend to go pretty quickly and hold their value well. One went on ebay UK last week for £1220, so the CW sale price was a steal.

There are a few back up in the sale this pm if you're still interested.

Have to be quick though!

Hi all. Just wondering. When manual winding the watch, when power reserver show full. Are you able to continue winding or it should get tighter and stop?

It depends on whether the watch is manual wind or auto.

On a manual, the feeling through the crown gets tighter and it stops, so you should apply NO MORE pressure. With an auto, it will typically let you wind as much as you want since there is a clutch that disconnects the winding mechanism when the mainspring is fully wound. It is of course not recommended to wind ad infinitum, 10-15 turns should be enough to achieve the mainspring's isochronous range and then you can let the auto winding take over.

It's an automatic. You can read all about it on The CW Archive.

Apologies.

That one is indeed hand wound.

What i meant is.. when we manually wind C60 Abyss Sh21, once power reserve reached full power. Will the winding tighten or we can continue winding?

Cause I kept winding and winding waiting for it to tighten but it didn't.
