Is it just me that thinks 'Why?' :?

I feel the same about Facebook as well, I am not on either and don't intend to be.

TWITTER YE NOT!

I totally agree. I may be a dinosaur, but I can really not see the point of Twitter/Facebook and I can't be arsed with 'em. :(

Damn right! In my day we had real friends, talked to them with words. None of this MSN-face-tweet nonsense! We used to go into the fields and woods for days on end and only come back for tea. Kids now...

As per the other thread. I find Twitter incredibly useful for shaming companies into doing something. Like Virgin Media... got them to fix my broadband on several occasions via Twitter, where their offshore support team failed. Also my local council tweets a lot regarding current affairs. Very useful.

Yeah, I love how companies now just interact with the vocal minority that think anyone gives a toss what they ate for dinner or what they are watching on TV... :(

I am not a luddite but I find social media B-O-R-I-N-G! I am a former MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter member (not really a user) and while I "get it..." I really don't.

If it's all the same, I'll follow CW on the CW forum.

I tried Bookface but all of my friends used it like Twitter and it became unbearable with my wall clogged with posts like "Gee, sure am glad I stayed home today!" or "I hope the Chargers win!". All posts seemingly ending with an exclamation point. Once they got started with Mafia Wars I was done.
I'm with Chris. There are some really good uses to Twitter but following my friends isn't one of them.

Well, sounds like I'm in a minority, but I'm quite pleased about it...
