Chat with Chris 2014

Post by Kip »

We are a bit overdue for this, but the boss has been a tad busy over the past couple months. Something about a merger and a new movement if I recall correctly.

Regardless, we have finally got a date that works. The "Chat with Chris" will be held on Thursday August 14.

The chat will start at GMT 21:00 and will last for approximately 1 hour.

We are going to do things slightly different this year. We will start the Chat with about 10 questions. I will ask the questions and Chris can answer without interuption. We will then go to an open chat where you can ask anything you wish. We feel that we may actually be able to get more questions and answers with this format.

I have started a thread here to post your questions. The top 10 questions and/or the ones of most interest to everyone are the ones that I will ask Chris. Please have your questions posted by August 10th. I will post the list of 10 questions that will be asked so you can have any others you may have ready to go.

If you are unable to attend and have a specific or general question that you do wish to post, please send me a pm and I will make every effort to get your question in if time permits. No guarantees..but I will try.

As in the past, we are anticipating some talk about CWs trip to Basel, the upcoming new models (perhaps some revelations), as well as CWLs future plans.

All our prior chats have been very enjoyable, most informative and very well attended.

UK time is GMT +1 = 22:00

EDT time is GMT -4 = 17:00

For anyone that may be confused about the time zone...try this link.

http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/

We realize that the time will not suit everyone, but it really is the best we can do for the majority of timezones we cover as well as coordinating with the busy schedule of the boss.

I hope we see you all there.

The chat will be available via the "Mini-chat" link on the index page.

A transcript of the chat will be available and posted within a few days of the chat.

A reminder....

The format of this year’s chat will be different. I will start the chat by asking Chris the 10 most requested questions. When this has finished I will open the chat for everyone. So that we may cover as much ground as possible I ask that you withhold any other questions until we have concluded the top 10. I will let you know when the chat is wide open.

I am in the process of assembling the questions, but if yours doesn't make the top 10, be prepared to ask during the open period.

See first post for date and time.
