Re: Non CW of the Day
A buy-what-you-like purchase. Very different from anything I've owned before, but I really, really like it.
Bought to replace both my GS/Nomos (I think).
edit- don't get me wrong, I've always bought what I liked, but this one probably has much less influencing factors than alot of the others.

^^^ Looks good Ryan. Be interested to hear your views, once you have had it a while.
I tried on the 42mm version a couple of years ago, before the 39mm was available. Looked good quality to me.

I've been contemplating a 42mm version for a while now so would be interested to hear your thoughts.
Pretty sure that Gary (Gaf1958) has one of these as well.

For some reason this pic is upside down? I rotated the original so it was upside down in the hope it would right itself. It doesn’t?
Steve.

Had one, certainly. Lovely watch, but I’d definitely consider the 39, as I felt the 42 was just that bit big for the look… if that makes sense. They’re certainly gorgeous watches though.StrapMeister wrote:Nice Aikon Ryan

It’s so difficult to capture the deep, bluish, sea grey of this sunburst dial.

You've done a pretty good job in this photo Steve. Also, nout wrong with the bracelet, but I think it looks much better on the rubber strapThermexman wrote: ↑Thu Jul 29, 2021 10:20 am It’s so difficult to capture the deep, bluish, sea grey of this sunburst dial.

Will do gents. Initial thought ... always carry a microfibre cloth because those 'claws' are smudge magnets!StrapMeister wrote: ↑Wed Jul 28, 2021 7:09 pm I've been contemplating a 42mm version for a while now so would be interested to hear your thoughts.

After wearing the tiny Sturmanskie yesterday, this took some getting used to again. But once on it feels soooo right
