The only complaint I’ve had about the new G-Shock is that, while the bracelet is really good, the end links are just massive and cause the watch to overhang my now smaller wrist. To rectify that, I have fitted it with a pair of band adapters and installed yet another Barton silicone band. It is now much more svelte, and even more comfortable. That’s a Win/Win in my book.

This one today, fresh from a little TLC and Crystal change after meeting with a door rather abruptly.

Peculiar piece.

New to me today, a brand which punches well above its price.

I really like the look of Brellum. A couple of really classy looking watches in their line up. Very nice. Did you pick that up ‘used’? If so may I ask where you bought it?

Thank you, they are finished to an impeccable standard, and beautifully decorated. The brand owner, Sebastian Mueller only makes 299 watches a year, all chronometers, and they rarely appear for sale used.

I was very lucky find this pre-loved, and in excellent condition. There’s a Facebook Group, and one of the members listed it for sale. I happened to see it within 2 minutes (late night surfing pays off sometimes!).

Blobs on my watch and the Yankees losing on the television. It’s a good night.

Spending a rainy Saturday being a spare body/minibus driver and watching a bunch of kids do canoeing and raft building! Sounds like a job for...
