Picked this one up in a small shop as a NOS valjoux 7733 from the 70s.
I suppose the brand is one of those batch orders but don’t have any information.
Anyone knows this brand reporter?
Not a brand I’ve heard of, but that’s a pearler (sorry for the Australianism there: pearler=great/fabulous).
Some of the independent brands that used various hand wound or automatic chronograph movements are every bit as nice as the the brand names produced. And to repeat myself, that’s a beauty.
Indeed she's a pearler!
I agree with you, I didn't think twice, although not having heard of the brand, to buy it.
Christopher Ward C1 Moonglow, Junghans, Seiko, Vostok, Swatch, Reporter, Certina...
I have worn it occasionally on the same style cheaper non Erika versions, but have concluded that the material is too soft and stretchy and doesn’t effectively hold the watch in position, compared to the real deal.
Time to bite the bullet and order a couple of 22mm Erika’s.

That’s a great looking watch. Definitely has a 70s vibe without looking dated at all.
thanks, Andy. I ever-so-briefly considered other colors, but I think I've long figured that if I had an orange watch, it would be a Doxa. the best orange on the market, imnsvho.

Go orange or go home
Yours is one of the newer releases Greg? Must be because of the 'T'.
When Doxa released the 50th anniversary 300 back in 2016, I knew that I had to have it. I'm a champion flipper but this one is going nowhere
yep, a newer model. i think most of the differences are fairly subtle. mostly COSC movement (300) and flush (300T) vs box (300) crystal. i think there are a few other minor differences (300T is slightly thicker, but has flush crystal). but the dial/bezel are essentially the same (other than the T). i doubt either of us cares about more depth ratings and HEVs (i have it and don't care). i might try diving with it, but not below 30m.
so far it feels like a keeper, but i *am* still in the honeymoon phase.

Just lovely, reminds me of some of the lemania offerings in the 70s though appreciate its not. As Gary says there were some great independents in the 70s who sometimes used the same cases/movements of the big brands but put their own spin on the dial etc. Great find and condition!
