^^^ it was a very difficult choice indeed. Neither would have been wrong and I would be just as happy if I’d gone for the black, I’m sure.

An absolute beaut Steve. I love everything about them. And to get a cheeky discount is a winner as well!!! A fine choice pal

I think its one that falls in to the "complete watch" catagory.

A lovely watch and one that I had been half looking at myself.
Always good to come away with a nice, shiny new watch with a discount.

Without wanting to sound rude, why bother if he’s not bothered by watches? Would there be some other ‘thing’ that would be of more interest to him?

As he stepped back though, he almost whispered the following fateful words: “We’re not supposed to discount Tudors and these particular models are hard to come by but we’ve been dead all day, so I might be able to wangle a deal, if you want to buy today!”
Top salesmanship :D

The watch in the drawer comment was tongue in cheek really. I don’t buy anything with a view to leaving it behind. It’s all getting interred with me. Going to be a bitch to bury the car!

Yeah, it was good salesmanship but it worked on this dumb watch nerd!

Congrats and enjoy in good health..
(I'm going to keep an eye on Sales Corner in case you decide to part with a certain Seiko Anniversary LE :D )
