Vulcānus Fraternity - Entice > Tourbillon Watch
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/vf ... term=watch
If you can look past some of the campaign text
I'm quite taken by the FERVENT “NOCTIS” variant
Plus, a Tourbillon Watch for under £500

Those hands are mounted above the centre of the dial. Throws the whole thing off in my eyes.

The campaign text was merely the tip of the pimple. I couldn’t see past the tasteless design and shoddy finishing.

Re: Vulcānus Fraternity - Entice > Tourbillon Watch on Kickstarter
Could be a conversation piece! Very interesting indeed. To have a tourbillon would be cool. However, as I understand it, a tourbillon is the pinnacle of watchmaking, a means to enhance accuracy. Which makes +-25spd kind of a head scratcher. Seems like it’s a cheap tourbillon for tourbillon’s sake. And if that’s what you’re after, more power to ya

I'm with you on that point Rich. It looks all out of sorts.biggus_richus wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 2:38 pm Those hands are mounted above the centre of the dial. Throws the whole thing off in my eyes.
The movement manufacturer is unspecified, as far as I can see, so presumably Chinese.
Overall; I'll pass.

Quoted accuracy of ±25s per day. What's the point?

”Oh, Minister, be a little bolder, please!”
