Lovely Omega Neil - sandwich dial, a lot to love.
Some would see it as a tribute to the CW Dartmouth but no, I think there is a lot of originality too in the Omega

Very nice. Not one I've seen before, although I must admit I've stepped out of the loop of a lot of "new watch" release info.

Absolutely lovely. I have the 'original' re-release/copy which has got a lot of wear over the last 6 years or so.
Much prefer the Seamaster 300 script on the new versions and a lollipop second hand wouldn't go amiss either.

It's alright I suppose if you like that sort of thing!

Thank you all.
This morning I asked Mrs nbg if she would like to look at it. She glanced over and said “looks the same as most of your other watches”. I offered to explain the differences and was given a rude response!

And what would have happened if she had asked you “Should I take the Prada bag or the Balenciaga?”

^^^ Well I do factor that in to a certain extent. However the reciprocal expenditure is usually something sensible that we both benefit from.
On this occasion she was ahead of me, as I was browbeaten into the need of new fitted wardrobes about a month ago. Dismantling the old ones was my clue!
The more usual response to a new watch is “I assume this doesn’t curtail any holidays?”
Happy wife. Happy life.

Very nice, glad your happy with the new purchase. In the end, that's all that really matters. I am also glad to see Omega embracing the "less is more" approach to dial text.
Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

You’re lucky. At least your wife glances over!
