Thanks Chuck!
It was obviously your herd of Ebel watches that got me curious about the brand. But as soon as I spied the big date 1911 I needed no persuasion. Such a cool watch! It’s so slim, wears so well, and the bracelet is gorgeous. Classy, cool, wearable every day, noticeable, quirky. And did I mention the big date??! :D

Lindsey, one more thang, & I'll leave it to you..these solid, end-link bracelets not only look swell, they are some of the most comfortable wearing in the business..I can't say the same for the current versions, though..
Ebels are a lot like women that lack a lowcut dress that zips up the side..neither gets the love that they deserve..

Just resizing the bracelet now, will let you know how it wears. Seems super comfy on a first check.

Thanks smegwina!
Thanks everyone!
I have that feeling of one part happiness and one part relief that you get when a watch fulfills everything you hoped it was going to be. Unfortunately I can’t get the bracelet pins unscrewed  so it’ll be off to the jeweller tomorrow. Can’t wait to wear it!

All I can say, seeing that watch on your wrist, is that one instinctively knows when something is right. Fabulous!

Outstanding! That is a great choice, far away from the run of the mill, well played indeed. And big dates are so practical - I too am a fan.

Congratulations on your new addition, a very distinctive and fine looking watch :)

I think I'd find that big date very handy, sometimes having to take off my glasses to peer at the small date on my watch....or maybe I need a date cyclops

Congratulations. Good to see you’ve chosen a watch that you love and will enjoy wearing for many a year to come. It great to see someone going with their own mind rather than what’s popular with others.

I’m not familiar with Ebel other than Chucks posts, but you’ve chosen well here.

So I'm a bit late to the party but GOSH, Lindsey!
I seem to remember a thread along these lines and what I didn't post was "Wait on, it will just come to you". It did.
It's quite simply YOU and YOURS and I'm absolutely thrilled for you.
