New Arrival - Sinn 104 Green

Post by blowfish89 »

After a long time, an incoming watch. Nail polish green Sinn 104 (this version is a recent release); will pair well with my vintage Submariner :-)

Very nice indeed. I think all the 104 colour variations are great, it makes for a tough choice. After seeing this photo I now also like the green.

Wow! That’s even more variations than the Mk2 Trident! :megaeek:

Seriously, nice addition, Om. Congratulations!

Very nice, I’m a great fan of the 104.

This arrived in the mail yesterday - dangerously expensive reading.

Good to see you buying a new watch Om. One that I came perilously close to buying myself (the desire to downsize prevailed)- so you can undoubtedly understand when I say I really like it. Like most 104s it looks great on straps or on either of the bracelets.

New Arrival - Sinn 104 Green

Post by blowfish89 »

Thanks all. The dial goes from a flat dark green/black to a sparkly/shimmering green, I really like it; and I’ve always loved Sinn as a brand having owned multiple 103s over the years.

Last watch purchase for me was the Certina DS PH200m reissue right about 2 years ago. But this will be it for a while now, and I’ll also likely get rid of the Certina.

It’s been a crazy time for all, and I look forward to the world getting back to normal. I don’t think I’m buying another watch anytime again soon though - best to wait a while :)

Top notch purchase, Om.

Its amazing how the shading of green on the dial changes in different light and the texture is great.

Enjoy wearing it.

Great pickup, and an amazing dial. . And while I don't own one, I have always fancied the countdown bezel.

New Arrival - Sinn 104 Green

Thanks Image a lot to like about this one.
I like the bidirectional countdown bezel and also the H-link bracelet (it’ll be on the bracelet for a while). The bezel is 60 click, more pilot than diver. Displayback and 200m WR is nice to have as well. Also like the simple two line dial text and English/German dates.

I’m very happy with it and I think this will take up most of my wrist time over the next while. I’m sure I’ll scratch it up soon, and that’s ok.

Here are some more pics.

Hey, nice pickup. Cool piece. I'm especially liking the day being displayed in German here! Gehört zur Automatik :)
Enjoy in the grandest of health.

Just curious what you thought to the Certina as you say you're likely to get rid of it? I've looked at it a number of times and it seems like a lot of watch for the money, particularly with some of the price offers that regularly do the rounds.
