Thanks for sharing this story Iain and lovely to read about the relationship you have with your dad and the pleasure it gave you both from your getting him that beautiful IWC. I hope you enjoy seeing him wear it for many years to come.

Fantastic post and read and candidly two stunning watches !!!!

My Dad's go to watch is his CW C5 Slimline hand winder (gifted from me). Makes me smile every time I see him wearing it.

Had a text out of the blue from my dad this morning to say he was still admiring his watch every day when he puts it on.

I’m pleased he’s bonded with it and it will be his daily wear for every day to come.
