Interesting review by Jody on JOMW. I've registered for info. It reminds me of the Fifty fathoms as well. I think my preference would be the green, in the absence of a deep red. Not quite sure about the bezel being so much larger than the watch.
Here's the link anyway.

A Kickstarter where you have to join the email list to get prices? P.O.A. Very Patek.
The watches look harmless enough. Not sure I’ve heard of the movement? 2824 clone? Yet another relatively generic dive watch. No discernibly original features.

I was taken by the fume dial, and the swiss movement to be honest. Jody said the Beaufort movement was regulated, but the home page didn't - they said accuracy was 15 or 20 secs from memory. Anyway it's releasing sometime today, so I will have a better look then.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 8:50 am Very similar to the Melbourne Chelsea, mentioned on here in recent days.

Re: Beaufort Cavalli - New Zealand
I quite like it, but ...... I’m not backing it because I have enough generic divers. There’s a decent market for a well built mid-size vintage diver with good “basics” by which I mean 316L case, sapphire crystal, decent lume & a good automatic movement (in this case a Swiss STP 1-11, known to Magrette owners, Nardi backers amongst others). Under £300 it’s a good deal.
It’s already more than fully funded inside an hour since launch, so good luck to them. I hope they deliver.

I decided not to. There's carriage, and UK vat to add on, so £266 becomes over £350 by the time you add in all the extra costs. There's a good deal of choice at that sort of price.
