Re: Unexpected incoming
So, one member might recognise it, so I’m guessing it’s a chronograph that’s fairly rare on the forum.
Guy?
Breguet, perhaps? Type XX Aéronavale?

Re: Unexpected incoming
OK, I realised very quickly that you guys have some kind of Jedi 6th sense when it comes to all things watch based, especially purchasing. As I've not had time (or the skill) to create an AVO style cryptic and linguistic puzzle this week, I knew early in the thread that it would take you all of 3 minutes to nail it down.
Avo and StrapMeister especially!
It now looks like I will pick it up tomorrow so will hold off from further clues until I can post a full pic beyond the oh so obvious pic I posted
I'm conscious now that I may have oversold it and there will a united sense anticlimax when all is revealed.. (although it only really matters if I like it and I'm sure I will).

Re: Unexpected incoming
Don't think so Steve, nice idea though. Doesn't match up with the Motorsport connection.Amor Vincit Omnia wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 6:04 pmSo, one member might recognise it, so I’m guessing it’s a chronograph that’s fairly rare on the forum.

However, my LeJour MkI Chrono has a Motorsport theme and a connection to Heuer. There's a thought.

Re: Unexpected incoming
Nope, the LeJour and ZeroWest are both very lovely though, I do keep going back to the ZeroWest website but not there just yet. I will admit that a couple of suggestions earlier in the week were warmer (quite a lot).

Re: Unexpected incoming
Needs a proper clean and I'll probably get serviced as well just to be on safe side.. so please ignore the detritus, some of which is from the old case cushion. The strap is correct for the brand but not correct for this watch.
But which model is it?

Re: Unexpected incoming
Apologies, you and StrapMeister were like rats up a drainpipe with your super fast assessment/guesses.
I'll post a pic of the dial in a while, thats the less usual bit!

How about an OMEGA Speedmaster (Racing Chronograph)?
...
So I was half right
Perhaps a OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch.

Re: Unexpected incoming
Well, I was off with the Schumacher idea. Still a Speedy, though.
Okay, silliness over. Although white dials are not my thing, that is a beautiful watch, Stephen. Enjoy it in good health.
