Waiting was killing me so...

Waiting for my C63 Sealander Elite was killing me so...

A nice caseback (which will never see sunscreen)

And, quite by chance, I saw an interesting car in the car park

Finally, the one I didn't buy.

Very nice Mark. You do like a Seamaster or three!!

I do prefer the Tokyo 2020 to the America's Cup version.

Very nice indeed, Mark. Congratulations. I think it would go very well with a bit of the old Piz Buin f20.

Congratulations on the new Omega Tokyo LE incoming and excited for a C63/Seamaster side by side comparison!

The Omega chrono comes across was busy for me, so totally aligned with what you left the Omega boutique with!

I think it's seven now

The real deal breaker on the America's cup was the fact that I couldn't read the elapsed hour display on the red sub-dial. And, I just liked the Tokyo LE better too.

Sunscreen is a very aggressive solvent for painted or printed case backs. I'll wear the white/black (Omega or CW) version instead :D :D

My personal choice is Banana Boat sport SPF 50.

Now there we go, see.

I'd have bought the Americas Cup Chrono.

With the Tokyo Seamaster, I realise you know that it is the Tokyo Olympics LE, but there's nothing I can see to overtly show this.

Wear it in good health though.

Thanks Lance. The chrono is bigger (not an issue) but busier, harder to read AND twice the price. Easy win for the white/blue. I think you're more likely to see a Seamaster white/black versus a white/blue comparison more quickly since the C63 won't be here in the US before June.

I'm not against the America's cup chrono per se. I do have a Regatta already though and I prefer 3 sub-dials to 2-subdials. In the end what stopped me buying it was that I couldn't read the 12 hour counter on the 3 o'clock sub dial :(

Here's my favourite Regatta

I don't have a good picture of the case back where the Tokyo symbol is but I take your point. This should be a regular model not an LE.

I know I looked at the Seamaster Chrono but the real competition was with the Constellation. Maybe next year.
