Poole we have a problem

Post by oberonfoto »

As Scotland is slowly opening up swimming is back on the agenda. So twice this week I’ve managed to secure a hour long slot at a local pool for a bit of exercise. Both times I put the. EB Holton on - after all it’s built for members of a certain Royal Marine unit based in sunny Poole and can withstand depths of up to 200m so I thought a wee splash about in a pool with a max depth of 1.5m should be no problem. I put it on for work tonight and though the dial
looked a bit dull but didn’t think more about till about a hour ago when I have a look at the time and realised there was a film of water on the underside of the crystal! So come Tuesday I’ll be at the Post Office with a nice wee package to send back to EB to get it fixed. Quite annoying as it’s not like it was bashed about - the service ones will be - it spent two hours in a swimming pool never even going deeper than 1m!

Well that must be really disappointing for you given that the blurb states each watch is tested for WR multiple times.

Hope it gets sorted to your satisfaction asap

That's really annoying but I'm sure the team at EB will sort it for you swiftly.

I know its of no consolation but was the crown screwed in fully?

How disappointing. I guess it can happen, though I know it shouldn't. I do no one thing, they'll put it right for you asap and they'll be apologetic and gracious in how they deal with the matter.

Bad luck, David. I hope it's a swift and painless fix from a company that has established a sound reputation.
