Just saw a new video from Watchfinder - the Breitling Avi 1953 re-release.
Wow.. If I needed a new grail, this might be the kiddy. I am posting this from my phone so I can't post a link until I am back on my PC. About £7000 in SS and a lot more in limited precious metals.
A New Grail. Well well.

It's right up my alley, as well...
Ebels are a lot like women that lack a lowcut dress that zips up the side..neither gets the love that they deserve..

Oooh, matron! Painful!
Nice, but I'll stick with the Speedy.

This is the very positive Watchfinder review. I doubt they have any, so it's a surprising review really.

I noticed Ernest Jones had the watch yesterday, but not today, so I assume they have sold their allocation. There were only 1953 available altogether. The precious metals are being produced in even smaller versions. EJ said they had 3

Re: A New Grail. Well well.
Agree with "first Breitling I've ever liked." I'm not a pilot and so have never had a need for all the navigational busyness. With no excess verbage, this is nice. I know it never went to the moon, but one has to admit they do have a great history with aviation, and this is a great column wheel, vertical clutch movement.
Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

I really really like this chronograph, but the lug width makes me hang my head.
