Pimping up my Tudor !
Sorry, Bit of an overstatement to draw in potential, helpers.
In summary, I love my BB58 on the bracelet, but I've got a wrist size, that means I seem to fall in-between sizes.
With no half links currently available I've tried the 2 standard options.
Remove a link and fit to hole 3 on the clasp it's too tight.
Add a link and fit to hole 1 too loose.
So I'm after suggestions.
I've left it with the extra link on, so it's a bit loose, then I cut up a silicone heel pad and stuck in to the inside of the clasp.
It's actually done the job quote nicely.
Just wondering if anyone can think of a purpose made product, that I could use, to form the clasp pad.
I've been on Amazon, most silicone/Gel Pads are too thick and the silicone tapes are too thin.
I think 1-2 mm thick, self adhesive, silicone or rubber. In a cutable sheet or in rectangle pads, would do the job.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Not the neatest, but it's just a prototype.
Regards Steve

Is adhesive neoprene any use? Maybe too squishy? This stuff's 1mm, but I'm sure you could get thicker:

You could go pump some iron, Steve. Then the loose setting would be a better fit.

Re: Pimping up my Tudor !
Thanks missF, I've ordered some foot pads but the neoprene may work, better as it's probably more squishy.
AVO, I've really got about 2 stones of fat to lose first, so I might be removing links, in future.
I let you know how I get on with this, but keep the suggestions coming.
I'd have thought the jewelry trade would have a more purpose made option.

While I don’t have any suggestions, I do think your solution is quite ingenious! If it works, problem solved.

Try this on for size and don't worry about how to fix the current bracelet.

If you don't like the clasp, you can always purchase a separate clasp from them in the size 16mm.

I remember a couple of years ago @richtel having the same issue with a watch and making a shim that he attached to the caseback, to solve the issue.

Re: Pimping up my Tudor !
Not sure this works for everyone, but sometimes I've found moving a link from one side to the other and/or reversing the bracelet so the clasp opens the other way improves the fit when the bracelet is otherwise between sizing positions on the microadjust.
Best regards,

They look decent, but I'm not in a position to spend that type of money on a replacement bracelet.brash47 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 19, 2021 5:23 pm Try this on for size and don't worry about how to fix the current bracelet.

Maybe they can produce half links in future.

Re: Pimping up my Tudor !
I did the first part, and that's how it is currently, with the clasp, nice and central.
Putting the clasp around the other way, is not for me.

Re: Pimping up my Tudor !
I felt the same way at first, but after I tried it once, I became a convert. I only do it for a few watches/bracelets, including my CW bracelets, where the links are on the longer side and no half links are included.
Best regards,
John

I think I'd ditch the bracelet and put a snazzy strap on it for a bit. If you notice your wrist size change you can always stick it back on.
