I can't see any detail on their website other than a Watch Event is coming.
Just going by a postal flier I received. They give min. £200 p/ex on selected watches, and 30% off all Bremont. But I guess that's off what they have in stock!
I'm only passing it on!

I wondered how you got the details. I might pop into my local AD to try some on before Saturday, just in case.

Thanks again.

Tempted by a solo, anyone got one and can do a quick side by side size comparison with a c60 trident or similar?

I’m at work so can’t take any pics of the two together right now but I can tell you the solo does wear smaller on the wrist in terms of dial and lug to lug. It is thicker though, or at least feels a lot thicker

There is a fair amount of foreshortening there. I only have an original trident GMT, and that is comparable to mk11. There is nowhere near the size difference between those two. Indeed the lack of bezel on the Solo can make it appear larger.

The dial size measurement gives a good idea.

It's the old cell phone focal length issue. It doesn't look that big IRL.

Here's another quick and dirty shot with my macro lens - this is a better representation of comparative sizes. I would say the Solo does wear smaller and height has never been an issue for me but I do have it on a flexible and relatively low profile Cordura strap that holds it close to the wrist.

Thanks guys. I was able to try one on at the boutique in bank and my thoughts were that on the wrist it seemed slightly smaller than the c60 which your photos back up.

However, the sale being in store only and a 6 hour round trip might mean that this is put on hold for now.

A 6 hour round trip to save the best part of a grand seems a good deal to me - jump in the car and get going :D
