Lovely feeling when a watch just hits you with the force of a sledgehammer! Enjoy the feeling. Try to fit your world around this one watch. If it doesn't work out then at least it has taken you on a journey :D

I’ve always been an Omega fan, and always intrigued by tourbillons. This would seem to be the watch to fill the tourbillon niche in my collection then.

^^^ Now here is a thought watchaholic - a 38mm gold dress watch on a strap is far more understated than a large brightly coloured dive watch on a bracelet. Far classier and much less “look at me”. :)

As this is a dreaming thread. If I ever went for an annual calendar I would like it to have a bracelet and be a sensible size.

This one at 38mm case, 11mm thick passes the test. Even though it fails the WR test. Still 30m WR is 30m more than some high end complications.

Oh it also easily fails the affordability test.

Being a PP it would also potentially fail the accuracy and robustness tests.

I just saw that the omega tourbillon I posted above is 43mm. Far too large, so I’d go with the 38.7mm version here.

It’s about $40k less than the 43mm, so I can pick up that Patek annual calendar with the savings :D

This is much better looking than the bb36. Still has 100 mm WR too, so while it’s not a dive watch it could still be a swim watch

I love my C1 moonglow, but I do like how Hermès handled the two-moon dial on this. They have it show the moon phase in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

This one has a lunar meteorite dial, limited to 36 pieces. A mere $43k. A Martian meteorite dial version is also available, limited to TWO pieces, price available upon request.

^^^^ Seems that decision didn't take long! I love the brand, and have had this one in my "Grail" folder for some time.

Such an interesting watch, its one where the elements really come together with an impressive result, if that makes sense....
I just wish they hadn't chopped the '6', I can't get past it.
