^^^^ This had a reserve placed on it over last weekend, which was removed sometime Monday. Now what to do? All of a sudden this is getting serious. Time for a closer look. Took all of 2 minutes to see there 2 different handsets in the same listing. Not going to try to sort that out from the opposite side of the globe.

Which set is original?

I think the set in the bottom pic is most likely original to the watch, but which one would show up?
Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

I think they are the same, if you look at the top pic you can just make out the ‘silver’ edge of the minute hand, could it just be camera angles and lighting? also the time is pretty much the same, taken one pic then took another from a different angle straight after..but wouldn’t bet my life on it, if it’s a watch you really want and at a good price worth an email

What Mr kiter65 said ^^^

Just the polished edges and the lighting. I have a gold Seiko with black striped hands that does the same thing.

Thanks for the interest. You may be right, and it seems almost inconceivable that anyone would do that, but I have considered lighting and, where and when would I EVER wear it anyway. There, I just talked myself out of it. Love the art deco look tho. And its soooooo thin...... :help:

^^^Zooming the pics as big as you can on screen seems to help... suspect that they might be right about the polished edges and the angle.

Also there is a lateral mark on the 1 o'clock lug towards the tip which appears to be present in both images.

Best of luck if you decide to go for it!

Pondering smart technology hidden inside a watch that looks like a watch. This one looks pretty good I reckon

I think there was a thread for this watch on this forum when it was released earlier this year, but How about a mechanical watch disguised as a smart watch?

The “loading” symbol is actually a cutout for the small seconds indicator. The dial is painted in Vantablack, so it looks like a black digital screen.

Price available upon request.

^^^ Ah, thanks for that Paul. In truth I don’t need smart watch functionality. I might, though, immerse myself in the world of ani-digi watches for a while
