Just ordered a Canford with the ox blood strap, £178 in total, which I think is superb, sure Guy will back me up.
I fully approve and back you up on this.
I would have likely bought one of the Canford or Bloxworth at half price (never seen them this well priced before) except that;-
1. I'm selling at the moment, not buying, to restock the watch fund
2. I've sold two Canfords in recent weeks, and
3. I bought a Broadstone on eBay a couple of days ago that arrived today.
Guy
I couldn't resist a half price Bloxworth. Reverse Panda with Tungsten PVD case.

..and take a cheeky extra 5% off the Elliot Brown watch with this code 5POP5
. . . and thanks for the tip, James (it worked).

Nice purchase Guy, just ordered a specially commissioned Holton Royal Marines ( for serving and ex bootnecks) from Elliot Brown with a few nice Corps touches on it. £631 on the bracelet with an additional strap and the requisite engraving of service number etc. Looking forward to its arrival.

Top notch, Gary.
I saw details of the RM Holton a few days ago, in a topic What is this movement like? that you've perhaps missed.
A seriously good watch.

I bought the Newmark 52 gilt one from StrappedUp here on the forum - it arrived today.
I changed the NATO to a vintage brown destressed leather strap.

As a result, I then ordered a Newmark NP which should turn up tomorrow
That’s a lovely watch. Congrats!
Thanks
Here's a side by side of the 2 Newmark watches (52 and NP)

Happy that I bought the NP Chronograph too and arrived within 24 hours of ordering.
I am not a fan of mesh bracelets especially when they finish straight across the lugs so I have left that in the box. I tried the included leather strap too but without quick release spring bars it was really difficult to remove so with a lack of patience I just chopped it off with a knife and binned it, ha!
Used a marine nationale parachute type strap and I think it works well.
