The Bargain Hunters Thread

Post by blowfish89 »

I've seen people posting about great deals they find (online or locally) frequently. Thought there could be a unified thread to share it with others. Post any great deals you come across.

To start with -

1) Two Amazon-exclusive Seiko quartz chronographs for $69.99 - TODAY only
http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=lp_86199680 ... PDKIKX0DER

2) Long Island Watch has a sale on Orient Star Standard Date - these are the ones with the super anti-reflective SAR coating (black carbon fiber for $319, two-tone for $349, unfortunately the white one which looks great and aqua-terraish is not included in this deal)

Reggie, I think someone ordered an Orient from them for delivery in the UK, can't remember exactly but I think it was via Amazon and the price included tax vat and delivery.

I'll wait however to be corrected if I'm wrong.

You can buy orient in the UK from island watches, via amazon. That's where I bought my blue Ray.

I believe Long Island Watch ships worldwide. Even with included cost of shipping, it would be cheaper than UK rates (like most other watches  )

I picked this up a few years ago on Ebay for the bargain price of $12.50 plus shipping from Singapore.
They can still be had if you poke around, but a bit more now.

Island watch and Long Island watch are the same company. I've ordered from them (via Amazon) and they are good people.

Great idea, I will contribute to this thread as often as I can.

Have to admit the Orient Star Standard Date on Islandwatch is ridiculously good value!

I recently entered a competition with watchobsession.co.uk and got a discount code for 10% off.

I bought a strap for my Trident FLE with it.
I thought I'd post the code here for members to get a discount as hopefully it can be used again :
