Looks good. Kip, is the due date still set for November or has it been delayed a bit?

Did they give any consideration to cutting the date opening out to show 3 numbers? Looks like the dial is notched for it and IMO would balance the big logo out better. That would then actually be a new logo design i'd buy.

Just a thought. Im not even on the waiting list.
This was the watch designed by a forum member which the majority taking part voted as the winning design. There is no "they".

Oh yes, it looks great!

He could have finished putting it together before taking the first photo, I was very concerned about the legibility of the subdial hands for a moment

The second pic looks great though, looks just like the render - I'd not have known the blues were different

They are still aiming for November, but with the some minor delays due to the dial/hands we are probably looking at December before they actually get shipped. That is my best guess.

I thought the drawing showed a much more cream color dial - and had thought the finish was opaline. Doesn't appear to be the case. However, the lighting under which the sample was photographed is likely to be tending towards a blue color temperature so may be making the white look starker than it really is.

I think the blue hue can be easily attributed to the lighting. If I'm not mistaken the white portions would still have the same color / finish as the standard model.

Yes, you are right. I forgot there were examples already on the site! That's the finish I was thinking of.

I think the sample watch looks superb - can't wait for them to arrive.

You can see bits of the bright blue popping on there. It won't be dark like that in bright light; thus, reconfirming my choice for the tan strap over dark blue.

I had absolutely no hand in the design of this watch after joining the party rather late. I do however think the community have created a great design. The sample pictures just prove to me i have bought into a great concept.

What size case and lug width did you decide on?

The new C3 case is 39mm, and with 20mm lugs. Perfect size; in my opinion.
