A sample photo

Post by Kip »

Jorg Bader has put together a sample watch showing the sample dial they have received at SH in Switzerland.

I think it looks great!

I'm pleased with that. It looks excellent and, to my eyes, very true to the mock ups that were done

Looks great! Having applied markers all the way around is a definite improvement on the standard movement. And the hue of the blue looks fine.

Looking forward to getting one! :)

I recently sold a gold big day/date, because the hour/minute pointers were similar length and I found it difficult to tell them apart at a quick glance.

These blue ones are similar to my eyes, I may have to rethink.

Doesn't the inner ring on the dial help here though? The hour hand lines up with that and the minute hand lines up with the outer chapter ring, which I think instinctively makes the hands easier to read.

It looks great, but I still can't help but think a full red second hand would've given it a lot more pop. Nonetheless I'm still looking forward to it arriving.

I also agree that having all applied hour markers is a definite improvement.

That looks terrific

If this encourages any waverers you might want to contact kip sharpish, I believe he might have an opportunity for one or two of you......

Good to hear that the CEO has been multitasking.

Hopefully all those who reserved one will be pleased with the outcome - looks much better than the standard non LE models.

Looks like it's 10:15.

Just a thought, how would that impact on the deposit?

If kip still has any availability, the new buyers would presumably pay the same deposit as everyone else did, followed by payment details for the residue payable on delivery.

Sorry, Tyke

I misunderstood your post.

When you mentioned waverers, I thought you meant anyone looking to change mind about an already ordered item.

Very nice looking watch.

Did they give any consideration to cutting the date opening out to show 3 numbers? Looks like the dial is notched for it and IMO would balance the big logo out better. That would then actually be a new logo design i'd buy.

Just a thought. Im not even on the waiting list.

No, I meant those who hadn't signed up but might want to do so now they can see the 'real' thing, might want to check if there are still a couple of watches available to buy.
