I'm not arguing with Wera....downer wrote:Although it's great that you got 007, I assume these numbers will be two digits (as there are only 50)? So really you got 07....STodd wrote:Despite the crap 3G in Italy, I managed to snag mine - and confirmed #007 too
Went for camel oak, in the hope a fitted bracelet comes along later....
Having said that, my confirmation stated a number of 0nn, so who knows?
Which combination did you choose?

My email stated a #024 also but as previously mentioned, it would look odd to have 024/50 engraved on the back. Throws it out of balance.

Not that it has complete significance, but the back plate of the design drawings shows 000 / 000
Re: Which combination did you choose?
001/075 is more aesthetically pleasingTyke wrote:Not that it has complete significance, but the back plate of the design drawings shows 000 / 000
Re: Which combination did you choose?
What do the back of the scooter blue's say? They were a 50 piece LE.
Re: Which combination did you choose?
XXX / 100, so no help there.srs1286 wrote:What do the back of the scooter blue's say? They were a 50 piece LE.
The scooter blues were numbered 001 - 050, the Red Jags 051 - 100
The C9 Red12 FLE versions were numbered with 2 digit numbering XX / XX
Only kip / CW will know for certain.

MMXV Slimline FLE
20/75
Should be XX/LXXV
So I would imagine your #7 will have a single leading zero.

What if the serial number was on a rolling tumbler, like a combination lock? You could satisfy everyone then. Just a thought.

This could be adaptable...

Re: Which combination did you choose?
There's no doubt that the Camel and Blue Cordovans are the best match to this watch. The Camel is rocking, but the Blue is more relaxed. I also think the blue looks OEM, and since I plan to wear it dressy, that is my choice. I must say that I do believe this watch would look best on a standard CW bracelet. We must all ask Chris in the upcoming chat about that.

Mesh for me although the camel and blue cordovan straps look very good. I like mesh and being metal it won't wear and it is easy to clean unlike leather. Easy to pick up leather straps later although I have a few 20mm straps I could use for a change.

Re: Which combination did you choose?
There's 35 votes showing on the combination choice so 9 - 15 buyers haven't given their vote for their choice yet. It'd be interesting to see the full split of combinations once all are sold.
Re: Which combination did you choose?
Wife talked me into new patio furniture this weekend (why the heck does it cost so much)... so ended up with Oak Camel to save a few bucks. I have a spare CW butterfly clasp lying around I'll probably throw on it.

Re: Which combination did you choose?
I changed my mind at the last minute and went for the Camel Cordovan strap
