Which combination did you choose?
Re: Which combination did you choose?
Your order got in before mine as my first choice number was also 4 due to my birthdate and forum name but it suits you.TheBeatles wrote:Just had confirmation email from Wera, the Fab Four is mine (first choice)
I thanked Wera, but received an automatic reply back. Stating office closed today for bank holiday.
Looks like the lovely Wera is working from home. What a star!
Just been advised I got number 013 which I had put down as my second choice because it's the number of the Scooter FLE I bought through a forum WTB just a few weeks ago so happy there.

Re: Which combination did you choose?
I am going for the Blue Cordovan also like most people, I think it works very well with the watch.
I have one on my C9 5 Day and it's dark navy in reality and looks fantastic and is very soft.
I have a Camel Cordovan on another watch the same size so I can swap between them for a different look.
*EDIT* Changed my mind and went for the Camel Cordovan

Re: Which combination did you choose?
It will be interesting to see how the blue Cordovan looks on this. The camel Cordovan is a beautiful strap that really works on my all-blue Mk3. What a pity I don't like Panda dials.
Just to illustrate...

Anyone been able to compare a camel oak with camel cordovan? Only concern is the cordovan appears to have more of an orange hue in photos which I would not like.

I have gone with the blue Cordovan too. Certainly seems to be the most popular choice so far

Camel oak for me. The standard strap was considerably cheaper, and I almost never leave my watches on their standard straps for long anyway. Besides, I already have a couple of blue Bader straps that will fit...

Cordovan camel for me. It was a tough decision between that and the navy.

Re: Which combination did you choose?
Choices, choices, choices! I went for the cheapest option of an Oak Leather in black because: 1) I've spent too much on watches this year already. 2) We've just replaced the Wife's car so are skint and 3) whilst I like the blue cordovan, I'm not sure if I'd like the Bader Deployent clasp?
As for serial number, I was lucky enough to get #24 which is the date of our wedding anniversary. (thought it might appease the wife and limit the bruising )

Re: Which combination did you choose?
I went with oak camel. I like the camel color contrast with the blue, but I have never been happy with how the bader buckle has fit my wrist size so I wanted the traditional clasp.

Although it's great that you got 007, I assume these numbers will be two digits (as there are only 50)? So really you got 07....STodd wrote:Despite the crap 3G in Italy, I managed to snag mine - and confirmed #007 too

Having said that, my confirmation stated a number of 0nn, so who knows?

Re: Which combination did you choose?
When I fluffed my original order, I had it on the mesh.
Having to re order, I went for Oak brown.
I missed out on all 3 of my preferred serial numbers, so I'll get what I'm given.
Regards Steve

Re: Which combination did you choose?
Really liked the blue but then realised I have some blue already that could be rotated on, so went for the Camel Cordovan.
Cheers
