So what happened with me was this: Right after Kip posted, I got the OK from my bank and placed the deposit. I then tried to pre-order, and it was declined; repeatedly. In the past we would just order through email, and pay around shipping time. Unfortunately, because we were ordering from the site, I was a little off of the authorization charge. That was my mistake, but it was a hard month!

Kip told me to put the order in anyway. I let Wera know I would order it Thursday, and she just let me know number #026 (Birthday) is mine. As I just turned 30, that had actually been my first choice. But I did have a wonderful birthday with my mother this year (my only family), and I was born on her late brother Joe's birthday; she thinks I'm a miracle baby! After getting scared I wasn't getting the watch, this now seems more special. :D

There's no doubt that Christopher Ward have the nicest, most respectful customer service of any watch maker around today. Real great people.

Thanks for all your reassuring words, and you were all absolutely right as I am happy to report that I have now had the confirmation email from Wera, s/n 16.

:D

He is possibly worried that the project will stall if they aren't all sold. Or, that they won't start the ball rolling on production until they're all gone! I think, with 4 left, that we're good to go!

Excellent guesstimating by Kip and CW with 50 pieces.

I imagine the last 4 will get picked up over the next few days.

Actually, I think that 6 units remain at this moment. CW is checking everything now.

You can't put more than 4 in the basket. Mine might be one of the anomalies if there are a couple that have gone AWOL, the pre-order went through, got a confirmation from CW & a paypal receipt which Wera confirmed had arrived but they can't find my generated order number on their system, but are looking into it.
