Re: FLE #7 Final Drawings
May I suggest using the board announcement function that emails registered members when the time comes to give the 24hrs notice? That way you'll get the people who intermittently check the forum and don't use social media.

Surely the regular members rather than those who check intermittently should get first dibs purely by the fact that they visit more often.jtc wrote:May I suggest using the board announcement function that emails registered members when the time comes to give the 24hrs notice? I don't use FB etc either.
Due to the imminence of the announcement members should be checking more frequently anyway, similar to yesterday's archive sale. If you want something then you have to put the effort in.
Looking forward to other views.

I'm confused.....Isn't Kip giving 24hrs notice before the order process starts? If so surely that'll give the majority of regular Forum readers time to log-on and read when to get ready for the opening of the order process.TheBeatles wrote:Surely the regular members rather than those who check intermittently should get first dibs purely by the fact that they visit more often.jtc wrote:May I suggest using the board announcement function that emails registered members when the time comes to give the 24hrs notice? That's how I read it, therefore if anyone has an interest in an FLE, they just need to quickly check daily, that way they will know what time kick-off is. Not much to ask if you want one that badly.

That's what I meant by regular members getting first dibs. Rather than sending out an email to everyone, including those who do not check in regularly.Tyke wrote:Mikkei4 wrote:

Sending an email is like giving notice of the 24 hour notice!
