With the last FLE we had to email Wera the number alongside the order, and I believe it'll be the same this year. As I'm reaching a milestone at the end of the month I already have the number I'd prefer; in mind.

Yep you pay your money and take your chance I reckon - it's only a number!

For the last FLE I think I emailed within a couple of hours and ended up with my third choice number.

I'm slightly surprised no one has talked about whether the C3 should have fully applied markers or the default applied/foil markers. welshlad kept it as is and I think it does look good but this would be the only chance to get a MK III with a fully applied dial. It's something we can discus with CW later; maybe.

We may find several minor changes will be necessary, such as indexes or colors of hands when the drawings come back from CW depending on the cost estimates we are given. Some may be required and some may be optional. We will find out in the coming weeks.

You were doing so well up to the 'nobody is special here' finish. Did anyone make any such claim? I know for certain that I didn't. You seem to have a case of the presumptive arrogances Scooter. But perhaps those with a high post count feel they are more special than others, and can therefore be condecending in the extreme, huh? Not the first time I've noticed it either. Turn it down a notch my friend, nobody made you the head teacher.

From where I'm sitting you're the one coming across with the attitude.

You asked if it was too early to reserve a number and if not you would like #11. I politely advised you that it was indeed too early and that Kip will keep us in the picture. How do I know? The benefit of many years following and being part of the FLE process.

You then decide to get confrontational and act like a Violet Elizabeth Bott laying claim to a specific number to which I reacted.

Presumptive arrogance? I'll turn that straight around because it seems to be something you have in bucketloads.

I'll ignore your petulant and inflammatory remarks about high post counts, turning it down a notch and head teacher jibes because they're only designed to provoke and prolong the exchange. I'm sure that Kip and the other Mods have better things to do on a Sunday than clean this thread up.

If you want to trade insults with me do so by PM and give the membership a break. Frankly, if I was on holiday I would find better things to occupy my time.

I thought this was just a bit of Handbags at dawn, untill i saw the Title/subject change, bit Rude in my opinion.
This is a part of the forum which is at present the most interesting to me, but i wasn't expecting that !

Let's keep this in check please, gentlemen. Misunderstanding both ways, but the facts are...

There is a long way to go in this process.

Individuals may have determined in their heads what the winner will be, but that has yet to be decided by the final poll.

As in the case of the Slimline there may be further polls to determine fine details based on what CW suggests/offers.

When that is all in place Kip will announce the reservation process.

From experience of other FLEs I suspect that this will not be for several weeks at the very least.

Keep it calm, please. :D
