Just out of interest, will there be a 2018 FLE taking place? If so, what's the process behind it?

What was the drama with the 2017 edition? 94 pages is too much for me to scroll through!

Re: FLE #7 Discussion Area
No drama really. A few peeps returned theirs, for varying personal reasons and there was a discussion about what, where, and why, with the conclusions being that it just is what it is!Czechia wrote:What was the drama with the 2017 edition? 94 pages is too much for me to scroll through!

Another here that's had all the cost returned including the £100 deposit. Unexpected but welcomed.welshlad wrote:Based on your post, I have just checked my credit card bill too and, sure enough, my deposit was also refunded a couple of days after the refund of the main amount. Unexpected, but good news.magicman wrote:Heads up, just checked my Credit Card bill, I was refunded the Deposit around a week later than the balance.
So full refund here.
Not sure why CW have done that but I presume all the 8 that returned the FLE have been refunded the full amount and THANK YOU CW - bit of good PR there.

Based on a conversation that we (FaceBook Group) had with Chris Ward, I would not hold your breath on another FLE.gaf1958 wrote:...Maybe a 2019 FLE if we're fortunate. I also think that the ship has sailed as far as future FLE models are concerned.

Re: FLE #7 Discussion Area
I don’t want to sound controversial here, but how many other companies will accept a return (unless faulty) on a custom designed product? FLE’s should be non returnable - the forum designed it and agreed on the design so why should CW suffer returns unless its damaged/faulty? The 5 year warranty should be in place, but the 60 day returns policy should be scrapped for an FLE in my opinion.

Re: FLE #7 Discussion Area
I agree with the sentiment, but the practical question would then be whether enough members would sign up for it in advance, knowing that they could not return it if they didn't like it? Having such a restriction in place may make the FLE unviable in the first place.TigerChris wrote:I don’t want to sound controversial here, but how many other companies will accept a return (unless faulty) on a custom designed product? But the point is moot, as I don't think we'll see another one for quite some time, sadly.

Re: FLE #7 Discussion Area
My post above saying the ship was sailed was because as far as I can see the FLE is about the only watch that CW do, where if I buy one at the outset I pay full price.
Said as an owner of both the 2013 and 2015 FLE - bought at full price before.......
The unsold stock ended having to be sold by CW at a discount.
