Are you interested in FLE #7?
It would seem that there may be enough interest to warrant another FLE. I am now willing to explore the possibility in more depth. I have discussed with Chris and we have agreed to the following...
Parameters.
1. Agree on basic watch(s) to be used
2. Determine what we would like to see for design cues via Photoshop and or discussions.
3. The Admin Team will submit the forum ideas/suggestions to CW who will come up with 2 or 3 designs to be voted on by the forum.
4. The winning design will be resubmitted to CW for any final tweaks and design represented to forum for acceptance.
5. CW will determine the end retail and time frame for delivery after the final design has been selected/approved by the forum and CW.
6. The winning design will be limited to 50 pieces. (unless excessive demand (+100) suggests more.
Guidelines
An existing case/movement will be used to keep things affordable.
Under no circumstances will anything but the existing logo (V3) be used.
The logo can be moved and/or center justified if it works with the model/design selected.
The device (English/Swiss) cannot be added the dial in addition to, or in lieu of the V3 logo.
Case back engraving can be partially customized.
Estimated premium over current models pricing will be £50-£150 depending on complexity.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If there is still enough interest based on the above, I will set up a separate forum to begin the discussion and organisational process. I will administer (assisted by the Admin Team) and guide the process, but this is your FLE. No committees.
Volunteers will be need for photoshopping.
At this time, no estimated time for delivery can, or will, be given until after the final selection has been approved. We currently have no time limits or deadlines, although I would recommend some suggestions as to when we should have a selection completed for submission to CW if we move forward.
I fully realize that the design and price will determine final interest, but we need a large amount of interest if we are to move forward at all. This is proven as we know that many will not like the final design or price and others will just drop out along the way for their own reasons.
Please express your interest via the poll above. I will let the poll run for about a week or so.

I'm very interested, of course as Kip says the final design and price will determine the actual interest.

It's a no for in terms of purchasing interest but it will be interesting to see the results if it goes ahead, so good luck.

Re: Are you interested in FLE #7?
I am interested and I assume that there will be a deposit put in place at an appropriate point in the process (as discussed in the other FLE thread).
I assume the first stage in the process is a list of approximate valves for the CWL watch range?

Re: Are you interested in FLE #7?
I'm interested. As others have said, the final result will determine if I buy or not, but the interest is there...

Me too, but not wanting to put a damper on things :-what-time-is-it wrote:I'm in, subject to design proposals.
Looking at the Parameters and Guidelines, I cannot see a consensus being agreed on very quickly.
I understand the need for them, but we all have differing ideas so it's gonna be a toughie
