You are correct Guy.

I would have had to return the existing bracelet and part with £1500.

Highly recommend Otto Friedl Watch Services in Vancouver,BC.

I've had them service three of my watches flawlessly and have referred friends there with their Rolex, Omega and vintage Longines service needs.

Family owned and run business since 1960.

Also telling when the Omega Boutique (that is one floor above their location) has staff scurrying down for watch assistance whilst I'm in the store browsing their consignment watch section.

We are fortunate to have a Rolex trained, fairly young Watchmaker in my small hometown of 15K. Located in West Monroe, LA, USA. I have had great dealings with Mark and have had several watch friends from across the US use him.

Looks like this thread is quite old, any recommendations for servicing in the Hampshire area?
I can send stuff off to CW and have been using a local jewellers for battery changes, but not sure how I trust them with full servicing

^^^^ My standing recommendation for non-CW repairs and servicing;- TWR Watch Repairs.

Whilst they are within an hour of me in Rayleigh, Essex I send all my watches to them RMSD.

They're Authorised Repairers for Swatch Group brands and will gladly handle most other brands too.

Cool - Thanks for that - have added them to the list - Authorised Sinn and Omega Service Centre suggests they are good enough for anything I can send them.

To avoid the lovely M25 I often take the scenic route through Hertfordshire.
