This was to be a retirement gift, that has been and gone. Christmas present?
The FLE was to have been my retirement present to myself and I initially had the thought of picking it up at the end of July, being the month that I retired. On the bright side I then had to go and find another watch to mark the occasion and I still have the FLE to come. :D

Same as myself, nbg. I also retired in July. I often wish I had ordered a Stowa instead. :(

A watched pot never boils, so they say. So I am trying not even to think about it.

Wondering if those visiting Salon QP will get a preview?

The photo from Salon QP with the moonphase really makes me want to get the FLE! When is it coming? [-o<

I was looking at the 2013 FLE thread and it looked like they were sent out in late November as well. I wasn't part of the forum then, was this a due to a delay or did the process get a late start? Was everyone sweating the delay this much? Should we have expected there to be a delay based on the past FLEs? I'm excited to receive mine in mid-November, i.e. shipped November 15th, lol, not that I'm counting :D

Don't get your hopes up for the 15th, it's a Sunday. Maybe during the week, who knows? I guess SQP and the Moon Phase launch has naturally been taking up some time. The unboxing will be all the sweeter for the wait. I'm invigilating lots of exams this week, so I will happily be putting the new charcoal C3 through its paces. :D

The 2014 fle f72 watch of watchuseek has just been shipped out, so don't think there should be much to complain about in here imo.

I've been in contact with Wera over the past 48 hours with an adjustment to my FLE order.

She has written the following to me in an e-mail this evening;-

The FLE’s are in transit… hopefully we can start shipping end next week.

Last I heard was...

We expect to ship them out to you by the middle of November

...which has become (hopefully) a day or two before the beginning of December. If I was that good at making deadlines I'd be scanning the job ads!

But at least it *will* arrive in 2015...!

To be honest, for me, if I decide to go ahead and get this it will be because I like the design and think it's a watch I will definitely wear. It's the watch we designed *for* 2015 but if I get one then I'll be wearing it long after this year (or even this decade) has been and gone as I only buy watches i genuinely like and intend to keep.

The question for me now is, while I know I like it, do I £500+ like it? :?

A week or so to decide or another serial number goes up for grabs...
