Secured number 52 a couple of days ago, with a brown strap and badger buckle.

Flipping two of my watched to fund this one. =)

Can't wait to see some pictures.

So...a cull then? I'm sure you'll still have a nice sett, though. :D

Yeah. I participated in the f74 hexa dive watch on Wus and also the kick starter for the cobra De Calibre.... Somehow, both didn't really speak to me, despite being solid watches.

The cobra is sold already and I'm in the process of negotiations for the hexa.

I'm actually down to only 2 watches atm (after the lost of my Blnr): my tag aqua racer and stowa 1938 cream dial.

Your wit was almost TOO subtle AVO -- that or lost in translation.

I appreciated it though...

Any word on when we might see photos of a physical prototype...?
No official word, but I am anticipating early July.
Early July is almost upon us... :D

Any news on prototypes or what hands will be used?

Believe me if I have something you will get it. I have recently asked Chris for a follow up and am awaiting word. :)

I was hoping they would be available by end of July, so it would arrive the same time as I retire. This is looking less likely.

2015 FLE Reservation instructions

Post by gatehealing »

Well, I decided to blow my savings that I had marked for this FLE on a Squale Root Beer and an Orient Sun/Moon.

If I get a business gig that lets me get the FLE, I will, but in the meantime, it looks like this may take longer than I'll be disciplined enough to hold out for.

CWL better hurry though!! I'm itching to get that Steinhart Pepsi bezel! Even that last black dial version will do.

I know that this should not happen, but I just sent an email to Wera in which I asked her to cancel my reservation. Somehow I feel that I don't really need/want another watch and I try to focus on other things (like the upcoming holidays in France). However, I also feel bad about my decision as I voted for it, reserved it and really like the way it looks. I also appreciate the work, time and effort of everyone involved in the process! I somehow feel that I am letting you (or the forum) down.

Well, it just wouldn't feel right to get it and the 40mm are not my comfort zone of 34-38mm, so I wouldn't wear it that often. During the past three months (no new arrivals) I have realised that I am happy with my collection as it is, and that I have more watches than I can wear/handle. So I actually should sell some of my watches instead of getting new ones.

As someone has suggested in my last SOTC in which I already wrote that I should'nt get new watches, I might concentrate on watches by Nomos (or eventually get my grail watch, the JLC Reverso Duoface).

So if anyone wants #23, this number might be available very soon.

I actually just did the same thing. Figured it wasn't fair for me to hold #4 hoping that I'd be able to find the cash in time. So, #4 is now available as well.

I'm sure it'll get snapped up!
