2015 FLE - Buying Intentions?

Post by downer »

You have now selected the final detailed specification for the 2015 FLE, and the chosen watch will be the model shown below. Thanks to all who participated in the process so far.

Image

The watch will be fitted with the Museum Grade crystal and the caseback will be inscribed with "Forum Limited Edition 2015". The price is expected to be approximately GBP520/USD710 with standard strap and tang buckle. Strap/buckle upgrades will be available as per standard C5 Slimline options. Final specification and drawings will be managed by CWL.

It is expected that the watch will be available in Mid 2015, although this is to be confirmed.

The final pricing will possibly depend on the size of the production run, and we now need to establish the level of interest in order to decide how many to produce.

Therefore, we are running this final poll, and ask that you vote to indicate the likelihood that you will buy the watch with the given specifications and pricing estimate.

Voting does not constitute any commitment to buy, and clearly, individual circumstances and decisions can change, but we would appreciate it if you vote in line with your current intentions.

With the dial face including MMXV my decision not to buy will not change.

I trust that the Romans will now standfast and not crumble.

I'm in and have already reserved #55 with Wera (hopefully not getting ahead of myself) with 1955 being my birth year and I will therefore be celebrating my 60th birthday.

You'd better hope it's not a run of 50 then, Guy! :problem:

I'm in, have voted YES and will email Wera, hopefully to reserve #20 - no special significance except my Blue Slimline has that number.

EDIT: Actually, I'm not sure if they will accept reservations before the design and price are published by CWL. For the 2013 there was a "Reserve Now" post from Kip on a locked thread.

Yes, I don't think we are quite at the reservation stage yet - although I'm sure Wera will keep your emails.

As mentioned, we are trying to establish the optimum size for the production run, which could alter the price.

I'm in, despite the Romans! I'm putting faith in CWL that they will make them look good. Will be attempting to reserve #11 with Wera.

I'm in and will most likely be reserving #84, I've always been on the lookout for a nice affordable hand winding dress watch and this fits the bill perfectly.

EDIT: Shall we start a pre-reservation thread so we can see who will be looking to reserve what in case of conflicts?

Please do not send in requests for reservations at this time. We are not prepared to handle them.

A post will be made with final drawings and prices when we are ready.

No worries Guy.

It is just that Wera is not yet ready to accept reservations at this time. She is more worried about getting through the holidays at this time.

I'll be in on this one, even though Limited Edition lost out! (MMXV has grown on me...like a fungus)
