I think its safe to say that the "no text" option isn't going to win unless everyone who has voted for "limited edition" switches vote.... come on you know you want to

This does pose the dilemma of which option to out of the two leading ones to go for :problem:

Regardless of what women think, I feel that MMXV looks ridiculous when you already have Roman Numerals on the markers. It just doesn't gel and it looks overdone. I don't think MMXV is the worse thing in the world but I'd rather have a blank dial than it.

This is why I am reluctant to change my vote from "no text" as there might be a sudden surge of people who don't like the idea of having "MMXV" on the dial and decide to vote "no text".

Personally I would prefer no text but I am not apposed to "limited Edition" or "MMXV" so I don't think it would be a deal breaker for me.

Post #2 of this thread:
Devarika Woulf wrote:Here are the photos for anyone needing a visual. I tried to match the font, size, and location of the white logo on the Blue Slimline so I think it's pretty accurate to how it will look. They all look pretty good though "Twenty Fifteen" and "MMXV" are my favorites because of how different they are to what you see out there.

MMXV

This one's better. Yes, I am digging it too. I just think Limited Edition feels it is like advertising on this classy Rosegold dial. Odd for a dress watch, for me anyway. I don't think putting the date ages it. It is the 2015 model...it's just being artsy and classy.
Forgive me if I'm being dense here, but didn't you put up the MMXV image in the first place?

I requested the image--and I have fluctuated back and forth myself as well. Thankfully it's a win/win for me since both leading options are great for me!

It was on gatehealing's request. My choices were 'Twenty Fifteen" or "2015 Slimline." When I saw people really liked gatehealing's choice, I supported it because we had an alternative to "Limited Edition" that didn't seem too odd. The more I look at it though, I don't think it quite works for me. Note that I am still not crazy over "Limited Edition" either but from here, I don't think we've yet come up with a better replacement.

"LIMITED EDITION" is like the old, longtime King that everyone is trying to dispose of but finding he's very, very hard to replace.

Fair enough, guys. I also changed my mind by coming on board at all with this design. I wasn't going to bother after my own design and then the Marine watch were voted off.

However, this is a nice looking design and the addition of the Roman numerals piqued my interest. As it currently stands I shall be likely to buy if it says MMXV but not LIMITED EDITION or no text.

Somewhat likewise to AVO I preferred, and voted for the C65, but like the C5 enough to buy that too.

My view is LIMITED EDITION has been done before but MMXV is unusual and blends with the XII and VI indices.

C'mon the Romans.
