Really hope it isn't Limited Edition this could sway me from buying - but appreciate that voting system fairest way ...... When can we put our names down for one ?!

Well I have spoken to the memsahib and she has ruled that the Roman numerals are the way to go!
She says that the Roman numerals are both simple and unusual, and that Limited Edition is 'shouty' and rather uncouth in such an understated watch.
(She is also the one that will be getting the watch as it is too small for me!)

LIMITED EDITION ----MMXV----
MMXV LIMITED EDITION
FLE MMXV
I don't really like it. It may look nice on text but on the watch doesn't do much. Since we're mucking about, I made two other ones which are similar. I think a single line of text works best here which is why the more suggestions that are put out there to get "MMXV" to balance, the better "Limited Edition" looks as our choice.

I agree - I want to like the MMXV but in the mock-ups it doesn't look right, it's too small.
I've currently voted Limited edition, but would consider changing to MMXV as long as it can be balanced on the face.
I'm a little confused.... Are we designing the text on the dial here or are we simply deciding on the text and CW will decide on the correct scale/font/positioning for balance?
Sorry I've been very busy at work recently and only had phone access this past week, so haven't been keeping up too much.
Apologies if this has already been covered.

For the discussions and vote at hand, we are talking about the same font size as the word Slimline that is currently being used.

Don't have a wife but from a female perspective, my own mum also prefers "MMXV" (I show my mom watches I like all the time and she's into learning about them now! ). From the font used in the comparison shot I posted, she thinks it fits in very, very well with the Rosegold numerals, and also thinks it fits better on the dial because it's smaller. She thinks "Limited Edition" is a bit too long ( ). I guess women can see things men cannot see. Maybe it's not as bad as some of us are thinking?

MMXV is sick, innit.
Judging by the number of yoofs (yooves?) sporting tattoos with the year of their birth, first successful potty training, marriage, kid's date of birth, divorce, in Roman numerals, the FLE could appeal to a whole new younger generation.
I have to admit to not appreciating how many schools Latin is still taught in.
Teacher: What's 4000 in Roman numerals?
Pupil: mmmm...
Teacher: Excellent.

Where the other polls seem to have a clear winner this is still a two horse race.

I must admit I am completely torn and not sure whether to go for no text at all, MMXV or limited edition.
I keep on changing my mind

All 3 are viable options!
Although personally I swung towards no txt...simply because I love it when you see a special edition thats subtile & discrete enough to make you think its a standard model so that you have to double take, squint hard for a better look, question your own knowledge & then give up and google (usually happens when I am on the train with no signal)

Re: 2015 FLE - Poll for Dial Text
I am torn too--I'm biased twds MMXV, but Limited Edition looks great in a different way. Either is a winner to me.
That being said, the fact that Roman Numerals have not been done before really appeals to me as an FLE. I think most text on dials looks too small to really read without getting right up on it, so that doesn't bother me. Fact that it signifies something special about the watch, and invites questions pushes it over the top for me.
I'll gladly buy either though.
