Also, dat female perspective, yo.gatehealing wrote:That being said, the fact that Roman Numerals have not been done before really appeals to me as an FLE. I think most text on dials looks too small to really read without getting right up on it, so that doesn't bother me. Fact that it signifies something special about the watch, and invites questions pushes it over the top for me.

MMXV on it's own is too insubstantial IMHO; be just as well to leave it off completely although i would not be a fan of that either.
As i think has been suggested earlier, how about adding a little more to it, for example -
FLE MMXV
MMXV FLE
Forum LE MMXV
Limited Edition MMXV
Forum Limited Edition MMXV (prob too long)
As things stand, my vote remains with Limited Edition

Re: 2015 FLE - Poll for Dial Text
I could see either MMXV FLE or FLE MMXV. That would widen the text a little balance out the top.
Can we still look at something like this, or is the vote only for what was listed on the poll? I know that too much of this kind of thing and we'd never have a finished product.

EDIT: Let's try this . . . would there be objections to adding FLE to one end or the other? If no objections, then perhaps this could be considered?

Think FLE MMXV or visa versa a bit long. Good point about size of text though - will this be debated once text choice is known ?downer wrote:The process has the following steps:

Does this answer your question?Kip wrote:For the discussions and vote at hand, we are talking about the same font size as the word Slimline that is currently being used.

Think so Serlo - I might be swaying towards spaced if it 'matches' spacing of 'London'

Re: 2015 FLE - Poll for Dial Text
If you want to see what two lines of text with MMXV looks like, I made three. I like it better than "MMXV" alone. I don't necessarily think it's better than "Limited Edition" by itself but it looks fine and a bit luxury if it works for you. I wouldn't mind it but it's not a poll option.

I like 'Mechanical ', personally, but I can't view the results on my tablet so I may be on my own with that.
Other than that, I'd go for the Roman numerals over Limited Edition.

Only a few votes for Nechanical, but MMXV and Limited Edition are neck and neck with 31 each as of now.Lego wrote:I like 'Mechanical ', personally, but I can't view the results on my tablet so I may be on my own with that.
