2015 FLE Final

Post by Kip »

You have reduced the entries in each category down to one. You have chosen the 2 models to go head to head in this final round to determine which will be the 2015 FLE. Two styles..Two prices....What to do....pick one.?

Before you vote you might want to read the important information posted here.

After we have a winner, there will be some further discussion regarding some minor details we need to decide on.

The poll will run for 7 days. You get one vote. You may change your vote prior to the end of the poll.

In the event of a tie "The Admin Team" will cast a single vote. Don't leave it to us. Your vote counts!

Let the lobbying begin!!

As of now, it's a dead heat between the Sundial and the Rosegold!

Congratulations to both of the semi-final winning designs; well done chaps!!

Whilst I do like both finalists, neither would really make me leap up and think, "yes — must have that one...!"

The C65 is just pure *fun* and the C5S is definitely something I would wear and I like the use of the new CW "house style" as applied to this watch but it's still not enough to make me want to by one. As others have said before, I will, therefore, opt not to vote in the final round as it seems unfair for my vote to potentially skew the results for those who actually intend to purchase a 2015 FLE watch based on these designs and the results of this process.

Nevertheless, well done to the FLE team and good luck to Welshlad and Magnus!

Can I ask that you hang on to your vote for a little longer.

Go to your local boots and take this voucher (see link) then come back and cast again.

If you send me a copy of the receipt I may reimburse you (assuming they fix the problem)

Best of luck.

The only refresh that matters is the one on Wed Dec 10, 2014 11:00 pm.

I voted for the Slimline. I feel that the watch will be a coveted dress watch for many including those outside the CW community. Even more so with the museum sapphire if it is upgraded. It's a simple watch but the rose gold and blue will standout striking. It is also the first true dress watch for the FLEs. It's pretty much perfect all around though I think it would have been even better if it was a black dial. It'd be great if they could make it 50 white/50 black dials but that may increase the price.

The C65 will be a quirky watch within the CW community but will not appeal to many outside of this forum and will take a while to sell out. We sort of get it's uniqueness but others may not. I don't have much to add other than it's a nice color but very quirky. Perhaps only make 80 of them if this wins.
