I think head to head the 27a would fair better against the more muted C5 designs, if you want a C65 FLE vote for 27a...

Some #02 voters might change their vote to #27A if they prefer blue?

Re: C65 Trident Classic Semi Final discussion area
I do not like the style of 27a, I think it is the hands that put me off, but I cannot quite put my finger on it - I have voted for 2 at the moment and do not think I will be changing it. I would definitely by 2 and probably buy 15hughesyn wrote:Some #02 voters might change their vote to #27A if they prefer blue?

Getting close now.
Hopefully 27a can just nudge it.
The numbers on the dial with the colour make it a nice balance face for me

Re: C65 Trident Classic Semi Final discussion area
I have somewhat of a dilemma as I voted for all three semi-finalists in the previous round.
Of the three, I prefer the original style with the wavy dail best and would happily buy either the blue or yellow.
However as I may only vote for one, the yellow edges it IMHO partly because, as yet, I do not have a yellow dial watch.

Yellow for me, probably would not buy the other two as I have so many blue watches as it is.

Re: C65 Trident Classic Semi Final discussion area
Looking at the numbers of people voting between models, its clear people are voting more for the C5.
l'm a little concerned because my next CW purchase is a C65, even better if it was the 2015 FLE model, but with the numbers as they are its looking like its either white or black.

Re: C65 Trident Classic Semi Final discussion area
I am in the very same position Paul....white is my choice of the standard CW C65 lineup.
But would love the yellow dial.
Maybe I can get both if fate gets its way

Re: C65 Trident Classic Semi Final discussion area
I only can have the one Ferg, the yellow is my choice because I think it would look great on holiday in Majorca.
However if the standard blue wins, I would buy that also, but I'm not in favor in any of the C5 on offer to purchase one of those.

Re: C65 Trident Classic Semi Final discussion area
Sorry if this has been asked / discussed already - I haven't really been able to keep up with the discussions of late - but is it envisaged that the wavey dial texture would be a headache to produce, with associated cost? I don't think it is a standard CW thing is it?

Not sure I fully understand - the wavey dial is standard on the black and white production C65s. Or am I missing the point? Re: C65 Trident Classic Semi Final discussion area
That's what I was asking - I didn't recognise the wavey-ness and wondered if it had been introduced as new in to the FLE designs. If it is an existing thing then obviously / hopefully it won't be an issue to just change the colourwelshlad wrote:Not sure I fully understand - the wavey dial is standard on the black and white production C65s. Re: C65 Trident Classic Semi Final discussion area
02 and 15 are using the standard C65 design but with different dial colour. 27a is a new dial and hands.
