Yuk(ish)!

To be honest, the watch itself is okay, but as has been said before, it's a cheap fashion disposable - £20 tops. If it is £20 then I fear that devalues the whole CW experience (pretentious?Moi?). Not really in keeping old boy, not the done thing at all.

However, if CW could come out with a chronograph watch for ladies with a mother of pearl face and diamond bezel like the Citizen I just bought my wife, but an auto instead of an eco-drive I think they'd be onto a winner. Lorn has always wanted a ladies proper chrono.
CW C3 CWS, C13 GWT, 2012 FLE. Tag Heuer. Citizen. Tissot Tudor. Breitling Colt + SuperOcean. Orient SK. Deep Blue. Seiko X2. Steinhart Ocean 1. Timex X3. MuDu. Longines. Yema. Omega Speedmaster +Seamaster SMP. Roamer. Sully. Bulova. Ingersol.

Don't like these at all. I get the feeling someone has released next year's April Fools day page a little bit early.

cholmes wrote:I love pink; its my favorite color to wear. I would not (ever ever) wear this watch. I am not the target audience for this watch, though, and I am guessing that the rest of the forum members aren't either.

But being honest, I do have friends that would buy this watch. This watch is probably not a bad business move for CW, just not the move I wanted.
I have friends that would buy this watch as there into pink and are girlie girls but sorry cw this watch is not for me  . I prefer W7, W8 with automatic movement IMHO :D .This is a bold move but i think they may end up in the sale/clearance   . I hope there's a automatic female divers in the pipe line. :D :D

Response from the other half...."Eughh-that's horrible. Looks tacky and cheap"

Response from me..."which cracker did it come out of?"

Mrs L not interested.
Miss L (17, fashion victim) quite likes the watches but not the straps.

I thought ICE watches were only distributed to male flight attendants on budget and charter airlines.

I don't mean to chime in here but all the guys are right, this is bargain bin supermarket fodder and not a good example of what many have come to expect from CW. heres how Freddy C does it and does it right (imo but probably not all) :

No, I can assure you they are popular with our kids, probably because the hour hand looks like Daddy's Sub! (and Miranda has one and she's sooooo cool!)
The 8-year-old girls would wear cutesy little pink jobs with hearts on, but not the 11-13s.
The 13-year-old boys are into big Diesels because they tie in with grunting and trying to look hard

Believe me, I'm the school watch authority, so they're always after my approval!

Echoing what has been said by a few folks in the posts above, I'm not sure that we in here really constitute the target market for this particular series of watches - as such, what I think is probably irrelevant 'cos it just ain't aimed at me (or my wife).

There's the rub though -- those likely to go for this sort of style will be looking to spend only High Street sort of money and anyone looking to spend more than High Street money on designer-styled bling will likely want bling with a big brand name on it rather than a small brand specialising in Swiss-made quality at reasonable prices.

I wonder, therefore, who the intended target market for this line is actually going to be...?
